Behind the scenes – of Olympic Dressage Rider
As some of you may know, Jade’s profound love for horses and passion for riding strides from childhood, which shines through her designs inspired by her fondness for the British countryside. With the brand’s equestrian roots, we thought where better to host a photoshoot than at the yard of Olympic gold medallist Carl Hester.
A fan of the brand, British dressage rider Carl is ranked 12th in the world, riding Uthopia on to claim gold for Great Britain at the 2012 Summer Olympics.
Carl now teaches promising young riders at his beautiful yard in the heart of Gloucestershire. Entering through an archway with an impressive clock tower provided the perfect backdrop for the shoot, alongside well maintained stable blocks and exercise arenas with his handsome collection of horses being centrepiece of his operation.
The beautifully kept tack room houses a collection of shiny leather saddles and bridles that have been used to compete in some of the most high profile equestrian events in the world. However, it’s the horses that steal the show here (with Carl at the reins) and we were lucky enough to meet some of the most famous ‘faces’ of the equestrian generation.
Dressed in the cropped Knightsbridge Blazer paired with elegant Pikeur jodhpurs supplied by Colne Saddlery, the renowned go-to supplier to the local equestrian world, Jade’s bold, striking and polished look brings a touch of added glamour to equestrian circuit.
Hand cut and made in the UK, its fitted style and structured shoulder composition creates a slimming silhouette that celebrates the female makeup. Jade also wears boots from Ariat International.
